Taplin addressed the concerns of the park’s valued visitors. Recognising the significance of Lion’s Head Summit and its place in the hearts of many, she reassured visitors that their concerns have not gone unnoticed.
A recent inspection, conducted jointly by Megan Taplin and dedicated park rangers, aimed to assess the newly installed ladders and address any potential issues.
One of the primary concerns highlighted by visitors was the stability of the ladders and the loose sand along the trail.
In the coming weeks, additional support will be implemented by trusted contractors to bolster the stability of the ladders and address the loose sand issues.
Stating that the park is actively listening to visitor feedback and values their input, Taplin expressed gratitude for the support and love shown by visitors for Lion’s Head Summit and encouraged visitors to continue working together to protect and improve it.
