Two suspects were detained by police members attached to the Public Order Police Cape Town in the early hours of Monday morning for dealing in drugs, according to a media statement released by the SAPS.
After following up on information regarding drug dealing on Pasteur Street in Woodlands, members proceeded to the address.

Soon after they entered the house, a consignment of drugs and cash were confiscated and an adult male was arrested on a charge of dealing in drugs.
In an unrelated incident, the police members found another suspect at an address in Hercules Street in Woodlands. When they arrived at the address at around 3am, they searched the occupants and the premises.
This resulted in the confiscation of mandrax tablets and heroin and the arrest of a 39-year-old female on charges of dealing in drugs.

Once charged, both suspects are expected to make a court appearance in the Mitchells Plain Magistrates’ Court on their respective charges.
