Eighteen Telkom properties located across five provinces in South Africa are set to go on auction on 29 August at 11am.
Four of these properties are located in in the Western Cape and are situated in Cape Town’s CBD, Milnerton and Athlone, Cape {town} Etc reports.
In2Assets, a specialist in commercial, industrial, agricultural and residential property auctions, will host the Telkom National Portfolio Disposal auction, offering a range of properties across the country.

The auction, which will feature both live and online bidding, includes nine properties in Gauteng, four in Cape Town, and three in Durban, as well as individual properties in Port Elizabeth and Welkom.
Many of these properties are prominent buildings and landmarks in their respective cities. This follows last year’s successful auction where Telkom sold 50 properties nationwide, raising over R500 million.
Cape Town CBD
Located at 27 Bloem Street in Cape Town’s CBD area, this commercial building has an extent of ±2 371m² and a GBA of ±5 009m².
The zoning is general commercial of C3 & C4. Improvements include multi-storey building, equipment rooms, offices, ablutions, store rooms and workshops. Ample parking is also available.
Cape Town CBD
Another commercial building also located in Cape Town’s CBD area, this property can be found in Central Cape Town, 15 Lower Long Street, Cape Town CBD.
The extent of the building is ±1 672m², while the GBA is ±15 342m². The zoning is business, as well has having vacant occupation.
Milnerton
In Milnerton, this property is a ‘massive’ land parcel for redevelopment, at 5 Bosmansdam Road, Milnerton, Cape Town.
The extent is ±46 778m², while the GBA is ±8 264m², and the zoning is in general industrial 1.
Improvements for the property include the main building comprising of offices, classrooms, training rooms and a hall, a workshop, storerooms and undercover parking.
Athlone
A large development land will be auctioned off, located at 5 Maslamoney Road, Athlone, Cape Town.
The extent of the property is ±2.1408Ha, while the GBA is ±4 609m².
The zoning of the property is general industrial 2, and improvements include an office block, workshop, garages, and exchange building.
Ample parking/yard space as well as vacant occupation are included.
