If you haven’t been a fan of American singer and songwriter Jason Derulo, his latest heartwarming gesture may change that, reports Fame Frenzy.
The world-renowned R&B artist recently made headlines for his thoughtful act of kindness at a Cape Town school, where he gifted learners with soccer balls after noticing them playing with a plastic bottle.

In a touching social media post, Jason shared a video of when he spotted a group of schoolchildren improvising a game with a plastic bottle. The Swalla singer captioned the video: ‘Every kid deserves to smile. I am because you are. Africa, I love you!!’.
The video shows Jason heading to a local shop to buy soccer balls for the children.
An observant fan and store employee recognised Jaosn and captioned the exciting moment in a series of photos later shared on TikTok. Derulo even took the time to pose for pictures with the delighted fan.

After purchasing the soccer balls, Derulo and his crew returned to the school to surprise the children. They expressed their gratitude with hugs and a heartfelt rendition of his song From The Islands (Kompa Pasión).
To protect the children’s safety and privacy, Fame Frenzy chose not to reshare the video.
Jason has recently embraced South African culture, participating in the Tshwala Bam dance challenge, which has become an international sensation.
