The South African Weather Service (SAWS) has issued multiple severe weather warnings for the Western Cape from Saturday, 27 July until Monday, 29 July.
The SAWS warns the public and small stock farmers about expected intermittent heavy downpours, snowfalls, very cold conditions, strong winds, road damage and potential accidents.

Several roads within the vicinity of Paarl have been flooded.
- The corner of Jan van Riebeeck Drive and Fairview, next to the Huguenot Community Hall.
- The corner of Van Der Stel and Ribbok Street.
- Main Road in Northern Paarl, near Paarl Gimnasium High.
