It is not unbeknown to locals that Cape Town is an internationally beloved destination.
Architectural Digest has reaffirmed Cape Town’s reputation by ranking the Mother City among its top 20 Most Beautiful Cities in the World, alongside New York City, Barcelona and the like.

The publication disclaims to readers that 20 cities are far too few to condense the beauty around the globe.
It, however, continued to make its bid by highlighting the ‘supremely spectacular places’ and Cape Town is more than deserving of this spotlight.
The factors taken into consideration include architecture, cultural treasures, historical relevance and natural appeal.
The publication proclaimed that the best cities offer something which cannot be found anywhere else.
Cape Town stood firm at number 14 on the list as the publication acknowledged its brilliant blue waters, buzzing nightlife, art-scene and the majestic Table Mountain.
‘A stunning city no matter your definition of beauty’ stated the publication.
2 Oceans Vibe affirmed that South Australia’s Adelaide took the number one spot on account of its sand dunes, surfing spots and Art Deco architecture.
Tallinn in Estonia was listed as the second most beautiful city around the globe with Portsmouth in Dominica taking third place.
The list also highlighted places such as San Miguel de Allende in Mexico, Chiang Mai in Thailand, Rio de Janeiro in Brazil and Jaipur in India.
