The Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa (Zeitz MOCAA) in Cape Town is renowned for its stunning architecture and its impressive collection of contemporary African art.

However, the cost of admission – R250 per person – can be a barrier for many, especially families.
To make visits more affordable, Zeitz MOCAA is offering a special winter promotion called ‘Art in the Afternoon’ for July and August.
This promotion allows both locals and tourists to visit the museum from 3pm until it closes at 6pm for a reduced ticket price of R190, a 24% discount.
The last entry is at 5:30pm. These discounted tickets are available only on-site at Zeitz MOCAA on the day of the visit; online or advance bookings are not permitted.
Additionally, African citizens can take advantage of ‘Africa Wednesdays,’ which offer free entry to the museum.
Visitors need to arrive between 10am and 1pm and present a valid ID or passport.
