While every day should be a celebration of the incredible women in your life, each year on 9 August we come together to celebrate the brave women who marched on this day in 1956 to petition against legislation that required African persons to carry the ‘pass’.

The President Hotel in Bantry Bay will once again be hosting its annual Women’s Day High Tea on 9 August 2024, promising an unforgettable experience filled with elegance, delicious food and great entertainment, set against the stunning backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean.
For only R250 per person, guests can expect to be welcomed with a complimentary drink and treated to a delightful tiered selection of sweet and savoury treats featuring buttermilk scones, macarons, red velvet baked cheesecake, vol-au-vents, quiche, madeleines and more.
To top it off, there will be a selection of Dilmah teas and freshly brewed coffee to sip on amid the treats and celebrations.
Live entertainment and a cosy space, complete with portable fireplaces will set the scene for an afternoon of luxury, great company and a warm, welcoming ambience.
