Her mother, Kelly Smith, along with three others, faces charges in the case and will return to court on the same day.
During Kelly’s last court appearance, the State requested additional time to complete its investigation. However, police have reported that DNA analysis from a jersey found in a field near Middelpos on 31 May is still pending.

NPA spokesperson Eric Ntabazalila confirmed that if a bail application is submitted, the State will oppose it.
