The New Cape Central Railway’s Robertson Wine Train offers a fresh and delightful journey through the picturesque landscapes of the Cape Central Valley.

The Steam train, launched in 2023, offers passengers a combination of fine wines from local estates, food from Bertus Fourie’s Spasie Trein Kombuis and the chance to enjoy the nostalgic ambiance of tastefully restored coaches behind a vintage steam locomotive.
Wine tasting, craft beer, scenic views and vintage rail travel makes this an unforgettable outing. Wine enthusiasts and railway aficionados are allowed to meet and share warm hearted memories.
The train allows its guests to relax and enjoy a steam hauled trip through stunning vineyards and the open veld.
It’s perfect for a city getaway and offers some necessary fresh air.
The steam train departs from the Robertson Station on Saturdays.
It is set to run for approximately 3 hours and costs R550 for all adults.
