Their mission is incredibly serious! They’re here to bring the vibrant and colourful Venice Beach culture of the early 90’s to Kloof Street. They house bright decor, neon signs and a laid-back atmosphere.
Their menu draws inspiration from the bold flavors of Mexico and the vibrant spirit of Los Angeles in a delightful culinary fusion, which they’ve self-titled “Cal-Mex.”
It features a wide variety of Mexican-inspired items such as nachos, bacon-wrapped jalapeños, enchiladas and churros. They’re also incredibly vegetarian friendly so it’s a win all around.
They’re known to play host to vibrant performers over certain weekends. The feature which sets them apart from all the rest- the graffitied bar complimented by a removable skateboard ramp.
