The Ndlovu Youth Choir is nothing short of a South African musical phenomenon, having come from modest beginnings in rural Limpopo to reaching the finals of America’s Got Talent and performing to packed houses on three continents.

They have collaborated with artists such as Master KG and P!nk and have performed for everyone from Trevor Noah to King Charles to Bill Gates.
This much-loved choir is now returning to perform on local shores, with a dozen new dates added to kick off their busy 2025 touring schedule.
Showtime Management, a local promoter, has scheduled shows in Cape Town and Johannesburg, with the Ndlovu Youth Choir performing six (likely sold-out) shows in each city. The Cape Town concerts will take place at the Artscape Opera House from 30 January to 2 February, 2025.
The Choir’s 2024 repertoire includes brand-new songs like Bohemian Rhapsody.

‘We bring this iconic song to Africa by infusing the original Queen melody with local genres,’ says conductor, composer and producer Ralf Schmitt.
Also look forward to a South African medley with a signature Ndlovu flavour, honouring local music legends including Johnny Clegg, Sipho Hotstix, Mango Groove, Mandoza and Kurt Darren.
Since its inception in 2009, the Ndlovu Youth Choir has become one of South Africa’s most treasured choral groups, as well as a global phenomenon for their unique music, having toured the United States and Europe.
Following their local shows, they travelled to the Netherlands for a theatre residency at the prestigious AFAS Theatre before heading to New York to perform at Carnegie Hall.
